Refund Policy

This policy outlines the refund conditions and procedures for the paid subscription services of Feedmate ("Service"). Payments for the Service are processed through Polar (Merchant of Record), and refunds are also handled through Polar. For matters not covered in this policy, please refer to the Terms of Service and Payment & Subscription Terms.

Article 1 (Refund Processing)

  1. Refunds for paid subscriptions are processed through Polar (Merchant of Record).
  2. Both full refunds and partial refunds are available through Polar.
  3. Once a refund request is approved, the refund amount will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.

Article 2 (Chargeback Prevention Refunds)

  1. Polar may issue refunds at its own discretion within 60 days of purchase to prevent chargebacks.
  2. This measure is intended to proactively prevent payment disputes and protect both Users and the Service.
  3. Refunds issued at Polar's discretion may be processed without prior consent from the User. Users will be notified via email when such refunds are processed.

Article 3 (Non-Refundable Payment Fees)

  1. Credit card and payment processing fees are not refunded when a refund is issued. This is an industry-standard policy of payment processors and financial institutions.
  2. As a result, the refund amount may be less than the original payment amount after deducting payment processing fees.

Article 4 (Subscription Refund Access Rights)

  1. Subscription-related refunds do not immediately revoke access to the Service.
  2. After a refund is processed, Users may continue to use paid features until the end of the current subscription period.
  3. Access is automatically revoked at the end of the subscription period, and the account reverts to the FREE plan.

Article 5 (Subscription Cancellation)

  1. Users may cancel their subscription in one of two ways:
    • Cancel at Period End: Continue using paid features until the end of the current subscription period. The subscription will not renew at the next billing date. No additional charges will be incurred.
    • Immediate Revocation: The subscription is cancelled immediately, and access to paid features is revoked right away. Refunds for the remaining subscription period will be handled in accordance with this policy.
  2. Subscription cancellation can be requested at any time through the Service's settings page.
  3. Credits already consumed are not restored upon subscription cancellation.

Article 6 (How to Request a Refund)

  1. Refunds can be requested through the following methods:
    • Service Settings Page: After logging in, navigate to Settings > Subscription Management to request a refund.
    • Email: Send a refund request to the Service support email. Please include your account information, payment date, and reason for the refund.
  2. After a refund request is received, review and processing may take 5–10 business days.
  3. The result of the refund request will be communicated via email.

Article 7 (Refund Limitations)

  1. Refunds may be limited in the following cases:
    • Service suspension due to the User's violation of the Terms of Service
    • Amounts corresponding to credits already consumed
    • Charges incurred during a free trial period (exception applies if a refund is requested within 7 days of automatic conversion after the trial ends)
  2. The final determination of refund eligibility is made after review by Polar and the Service.

  1. For matters not covered in this policy, the Terms of Service and Payment & Subscription Terms shall apply.
  2. This policy complies with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of the Republic of Korea and related regulations.
  3. For EU/EEA residents, statutory refund rights under the consumer protection laws of their country of residence may take precedence over this policy.
