Payment & Subscription Terms

These terms govern the payment, subscription management, and credit policies for the paid subscription services provided by Feedmate ("Service"). For matters not covered in these terms, please refer to the Terms of Service.

Article 1 (Plan Types and Pricing)

1. The Service offers the following subscription plans:
   • FREE: Access to basic features with limited monthly credits. No charge.
   • PLUS: Extended features and additional monthly credits. Paid subscription.
   • PRO: Full access to all features with maximum monthly credits. Paid subscription.
2. Specific pricing, included features, and credit allocations for each plan are available on the Pricing page.
3. All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). Depending on your region, you may be charged in your local currency at the applicable exchange rate.

Article 2 (Payment Methods and Processing)

1. Payments for paid plans are processed through Polar ("Payment Processor"). Polar serves as the Merchant of Record for the Service, handling payment processing, tax collection, and refunds.
2. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Polar.
3. Polar's terms of service and privacy policy apply in addition to these terms when processing payments.
4. Payment-related inquiries can be submitted through the Service's settings page or via email.

Article 3 (Subscription Renewal and Auto-Renewal)

1. Paid plans are offered on a monthly subscription basis. Each subscription period is one month from the date of payment.
2. Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled by the User. Upon auto-renewal, the same amount will be charged to the registered payment method.
3. Auto-renewal charges are processed on the last day of the current subscription period.
4. If auto-renewal fails due to expired payment methods, insufficient funds, or other reasons, the Service will notify the User via email and request a payment method update.

Article 4 (Subscription Cancellation)

1. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the Service's settings page.
2. Upon cancellation, Users may continue to use paid features until the end of the current subscription period. After the subscription period ends, the account will automatically revert to the FREE plan.
3. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable upon cancellation. For refund-related matters, please refer to the Refund Policy.

Article 5 (Credit Policy)

1. Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Credits are consumed when using specific features within the Service, such as AI functions and Open API calls.
2. Upon subscription renewal, credits allocated to the respective plan are replenished.
3. Unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next billing cycle. At the time of renewal, remaining subscription credits expire and new credits are allocated.
4. Credits issued through coupons are managed separately from subscription credits. The validity period and usage conditions for coupon credits are specified at the time of issuance.
5. When consuming credits, coupon credits are used before subscription credits.
6. Credits cannot be refunded as cash or transferred to other accounts.

Article 6 (Plan Changes)

1. Upgrade: When upgrading from a lower plan to a higher plan, new plan credits are allocated immediately. The price difference is charged immediately.
2. Downgrade: When downgrading from a higher plan to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the next renewal date after the current subscription period ends. Users may continue to use the existing plan's features and credits during the current period.
3. Plan changes can be requested through the Service's settings page.

Article 7 (Price Changes)

1. The Service may change plan pricing. Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-service announcements before any price change takes effect.
2. Updated pricing will apply starting from the next subscription renewal date after the notice period.
3. Users who do not agree to the updated pricing may cancel their subscription before the next renewal date.

Article 8 (Taxes)

1. Prices displayed on the Service may not include taxes. Value Added Tax (VAT), Sales Tax, and other applicable taxes may be charged separately based on the laws of the User's jurisdiction.
2. Tax calculation and collection are handled by Polar (Merchant of Record) based on the User's location.
3. Tax receipts and invoices are provided through Polar.

Article 9 (Free Trials and Promotions)

1. The Service may offer free trial periods or promotional pricing from time to time.
2. At the end of a free trial period, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled by the User.
3. Promotional terms and duration will be communicated separately at the time of the promotion.

Article 10 (Service Discontinuation)

1. In the event of permanent service discontinuation, the Service will notify Users at least 30 days in advance.
2. Refunds for unused subscription periods upon service discontinuation will be handled in accordance with the Refund Policy.

Article 11 (Miscellaneous)

1. For matters not covered in these terms, the Terms of Service shall apply.
2. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the Terms of Service, these terms shall prevail with respect to payment and subscription matters.
